Laurin’s experience in the photographic field is extensive. He has worked in the photographic field for more than 25 years. Laurin has used cameras from large format to 35mm. His professional experience includes working in color labs, custom black and white labs, studio portraiture, photographic retails sales and owning Laurin Trainer Photography for ten years. Laurin has had numerous solo exhibits and participated in many group shows. He is known for his fine art landscape and nature photography and is represented by the Exposed Fine Art Photography Gallery. Laurin has run workshops and tutors people interested in differing areas of photography.

Laurin began using and experimenting with digital photography in the early 90s. He is one of the earliest to use this technology in the northern New York area. He started using in camera digital capture in 2001. This experience and knowledge serves him well by producing outstanding images both in camera and in the post production of the photographs.
